Dior Rosy Tan

Hi everyone! I'm very excited about this post, Rosy Tan ($58 for 0.21 oz) has 2 taupes, I DIE! Sephora site described the taupe on the bottom left as a silvery taupe, but when it arrived I was surprised that it was more like of a brownish silvery taupe rather than a straight up silvery taupe. Other colors are a frosty pink, chocolate brown with gold micro glitter, and middle is an ivory with pink shimmer. Sorry this description's all over the place but I get excited about taupes, of course. Definitely a Sonia palette.:)

Can't wait to wear this palette tomorrow for date night with H!

NARS Ashes to Ashes

With flash
Hi everyone! Ashes to Ashes ($23 for 0.07 oz) is a medium purplish taupe with noticeable champagne shimmer. Also has a tiny amount of green shimmer that's only noticeable when you inspect it like Inspector Gadget. Well, I'm not saying that I put a magnifying glass up to it, but with my big ass eyes and good lighting I was able to see it. This is a beautiful shadow with the great pigmentation and wonderful texture I'd expect from NARS. This went into my shopping basket faster than I could say "I've fallen and I can't get up."

No flash

Outside in the shade

Direct sunlight. You can really see the champagne shimmer here.
If you're a taupe addict like me this is a must have. Thanks for reading!

MAKE UP FOR EVER Rouge Artist Intense #45

MAKE UP FOR EVER #45 ($19 for 0.12 oz) is a beyond gorgeous raspberry red. Sounds tdf right? Well it is! Not only is the color too stunning for words, the formula is so good it should be illegal. It seriously glides on like a dream and goes on *very* pigmented with zero signs of sheerness anywhere. It wear ridiculously well, too. I applied it in the morning, then went out for dim sum around 1pm and FEASTED. After we ate I went to reapply thinking there's no way i'd have anything left after all that food, to my surprise it was all still there intact. No huay! Definitely the best formula ever IME. Moisturizing, satin finish that I like so much I don't even blot, and smells pretty. I can't wait to get the rest of their reds. There's four more I need to get. Here's the food which it stayed put through. It was for just 2 people btw:

MSG allergy was going strong after, but it was worth it!

It actually outlived all of that! Now THAT'S a lipstick. Onto the swatch. *WARNING* This swatch is NSFW.

Very late June Birchbox

Hi everyone! So sorry I'm late with this, I just got it yesterday. H got it out of the mail and ran up to me with a big smile cause he was so happy that I finally got It.:) I LOVE this box. Seriously, everything I got was stuff that I like. This month's theme is Travel. Which is very appropriate for summer.

Everything came nicely packaged. Presentation is very important.

I got: Dr. Dennis Gross EZ4U Facial Towelettes, Amika Obliphica Hair Treatment, Kate Spade Twirl, Pangea Organics Tone for Normal to Combination Skin, Pangea Organics Nigerian Ginger Facial Cream, and Laura Geller Baked Blush in Honey Dipped. I didn't post this yesterday so I could try everything and give a proper review. There's nothing in this box I didn't like. As soon as it came I put on the blush, which is just freaking gorgeous and looks beautiful on (If I do say so myself!), then I sprayed Twirl on and instantly fell in love. At night after I washed off all my makeup I used a towelette to make sure all mu residue was off. Then I sprayed the toner on and applied the moisturizer. My face felt fresh and smelled amazing. Then this morning I applied the oil treatment (which is a serum, not a runny oil). I'm telling you, this serum smells freaking incredible. My hair smelled SO good. I NEED the full size.

Here's the rundown of the full sizes and prices. The blush is actually full size!
AMAZING OR WHAT?? If It wasn't for Birchbox I would have never tried this; very unfortunate because It's such a wonderful product.

MAKE UP FOR EVER Rouge Artist Intense Moulin Rouge #43

Moulin Rouge ($19 for 0.12 oz) is a gorgeous neutral red with a satin finish. Very cream, moisturizing, and opaque. The packaging is sexy and goes perfect with the name, love it! I don't know why I didn't pick this up sooner, but better late than never.;) MAKE UP FOR EVER makes great l/s, they don't play! They know what they're doing! Dany Sanz is a genius. They make lots of reds, which makes me a happy little Sonia.

I have more MUFE reds coming up, so stay tuned! Thanks for reading! :)

NARS Bellissima

Bellissima ($33 for 0.14 oz) has got to be my favorite NARS duo. One side is a shimmery pigmented creamy beige with gold shimmer and the other is a pigmented matte taupe with subtle pink and gold shimmer. Gorgeous!! Perfect classic everyday duo that doesn't require too much effort yet looks so elegant. The more NARS I have in my life the better.

NARS Lovejoy

I was looking for a dupe of Lancome Shimmer Mocha Havana so I thought I should check out NARS to see if they had one. I mean, It's NARS, they pretty much thought of every blush color possible so I knew I would find one (well, Illamasqua does have a yellow blush, but I don't know if it really does count as a blush). Sure enough, there was Lovejoy ($27 for 0.16oz). It is not only a dupe, It's much prettier. This is a warm rosy bronze Dulce de Leche color with gold shimmer. Like  my cheeks but better. Since It's NARS It of course has the amazing texture and pigmentation you would expect.

Without flash; closer to real life.

Notice the shimmer all over my arm? I had just gotten back from Sephora and I had serious swatch arm!<3

It's a little more bronze IRL.

My Hourglass collection.

If I could sum up this brand with one would it would be "Outstanding". From the product to the packaging with a sexy swivel mirror, everything is beautiful and high quality. Everything is high in pigment and a little goes a long way, even the e/s. I barely touch my brush to the shadow and It already picks up more than enough. The Creme to Powder bronzer is amazing. Very very little goes a long way. Just a light tap of your brush per each part of your face (I use CHANEL #16 brush to apply) is enough. Leaves my skin glowing all day, looking dewy, and looks natural. You have to try this to believe it. Do yourself a favor and go to Sephora and have a SA apply this on you. Thank me later.;)
The l/s is very very moisturizing and applies feels like a balm. This wears longer than any other of my l/s. Again a little goes a long way; highly pigmented.
L/s in Raven; Creme to powder bronzer in Bronze Light (comes with a cream bronzer and cream champagne highlighter); e/s (clockwise) Gypsy (shimmery champagne and shimmery bronze), Dune (shimmery gold and olive with gold shimmer), Suede (champagne and light taupe with gold shimmer), (shimmery mauve and shimmery eggplant) Exhibition.

I hope someday they come out with e/s singles and powder blushes.
E/s are $38, Creme bronzer (or blush/bronzer duo), $40, and l/s $30. I love Hourglass, worth every penny.
