Givenchy Le Prisme Mono e/s in Elegant Taupe

Hi everyone! Be prepared for taupe goodness. Taupe e/s is my FAV. My face was like this :O when I first saw this shadow. Elegant taupe ($29 for 0.12 oz, purchased at Sephora) is four e/s in. It's squared with four little squares that are all same color but different finishes that are matte, shimmery, and frosty. Can be used individually or all four color mixed. My fav square has gorgeous pink shimmery. I did a look with this yesterday. Wore the pink shimmer from lid to crease then the matte e/s as a crease color, MAC Brule as highlight, then liner and mascara.  Perfect for a simple and easy look.

Texture: Smooth, great pigmentation, and very long lasting. Lives up to It's price. Stayed put from morning to night.

Packaging: Exquisite! Logo on lid is mirrored and looks so elegant. Compact is smooth black metal and comes with a magnetic closure, mirror, and sponge applicator. Sponge applicator is angled at the end so It slides out, It's the coolest thing! *iz easily amused* Now THIS is packaging. Can't wait to buy more!

Swatched colors counterclockwise. Last swatch is all the colors mixed.

Thanks for looking! :)

Dior Rouge Dior Favori Red

A red a day keeps the doctor away! Well...At least that's what I think. :P Here's my latest red! Favori Red ($30 for 0.12 oz at, purchased at Sephora) is a pink based cherry red.

Formula: Creamy, very smooth, moisturizing, and glides right on. I barely touched my arm with It to swatch and It went on super pigmented with one swipe and like buttah! Also has a light scent. It's not strong so doesn't really bother me. Scent reminds me of L'Oreal l/s. Id prefer a more vanilla scent or no scent but It's no big deal. As long as It doesn't smell/taste like Avon's "Mega Impact" (quotations cause they are neither mega nor impact, but that's a separate story)  l/s I don't mind It. Feels so light and luxurious on my lips.

Packaging: SEXY and elegant. Outside is made of veryyy smooth sturdy plastic, which is actually good quality and not cheap and thin. Inside tube is metal. Top of the lid has the CD logo on top which looks and is made with the same plastic material as the e/s packaging. Love the little details on It from the CD on top, to engraved logo on the outside to the one on the lipstick itself.

Swatches:

I've been wearing It all day and It hasn't faded at all. Pretty impressive cause I've had many spoonfuls of Nutella. :D

Thanks for looking!

NARS Red Lizard l/s

Pic is very very close to what It looks like IRL. That's the lip brush I use to apply all my l/s.

Hi everyone! This is another red l/s I love. Red Lizard ($24 for 0.12 oz) is a semi matte sexy/sultry almost brick red but a tad bit darker and a littttle bit of brown thrown in. The formula is pigmented, glides on easily, long lasting, and smells good. Like Earl Grey tea (one of my fav teas) because It has Bergamont oil in It. Packaging is metal and covered in smooth rubber. I recommend you keep NARS l/s in the box they came in to keep them clean, smudges love the rubber.
If you're looking for a red that's more toned down and not so BAM in your face red, this is perfect for you.

With flash, so color is a little darker IRL.

Thanks for looking! :)

Too Faced Smokey Eye Palette

Hi everyone! If you love smokey eyes or dark eye looks in general, this palette is for you. Pigmented, long lasting, and great quality. I looove Too Faced products. Most of what I've gotten from them (except for the Glamour to go palette, I don't know what happened there) has been high quality, and the packaging is awesome to top It off. This comes with shadows for a 'Day Smoke', 'Fashion Smoke', and 'Classic Smoke.' Colors under Day Smoke are matte Ivory, shimmery taupe (this is my fav shade from the entire palette), and shimmery bronze. Fashion smoke colors are a shimmery peach, shimmery emerald green, and a dark shimmery blue. Colors in Classic smoke are a shimmery black, shimmery silver, and shimmery dark black gray. Extras in this palette include two double ended applicators (sponge and angled brush) and cards 3 cards with look suggestions. I actually really like the applicators this came with, especially the angled brush.

You can get this for $35 for 0.36 oz of products at either Sephora or TooFaced.com

Love that taupe!

Natural sunlight. Swatched over Avalon Organics Lavender lotion. Look at that taupe O_O

Kat Von D True Romance Beethoven and Ludwig palettes review and swatches.

Thin sleek packaging, fits perfectly in mu bag for travel.

Hi everyone! I have to share 2 of my most loved palettes. The quality is fabulous, buttery soft, pigmented, and a great value at just $34 for a good size palette with eight e/s. Both contain everything you need to create a look, lid, crease, and highlighter colors. Each comes with two double ended flat brush applicators that I don't find work for the shadows but do work as e/l brushes for gel liner.  I love the rubber packaging, reminds me of NARS. I kept the boxes to keep the palettes in them to keep them clean, plus the box is pretty and I love the detail. :D I took Beethoven when I went on vacation to NE since I didn't want to take too much with me (I always over pack lol). It was easy to travel with and It had everything I needed from plenty of e/s to choose from to a matte black I could use as brow powder (also has a matte brown if you have brown brows). I was able to really get use of of this since It was the only e/s I took. I did everything from neutral looks, to smokey and dramatic eyes. All with one palette. Add this palette to my 'For Browns list'. I extra recommend It for my brown eyed sistahs. The colors in Beethoven are:

(Description taken from Sephora.com)

 Lucifer (Matte charcoal black)
Speed Blue (Dark metallic blue)
Razor Gray (Warm gun steel shimmer)
Tequila (Metallic cornsilk shimmer)
Galeano (Metallic medium plum shimmer)
Sinner (Metallic purple black shimmer)
Rad Purple (Matte purple black with purple glitter, this one is my fav)
Leather (Matte dark brown)

Ludwig is absolutely beautiful. Very well put together palette, there's not one shadow I don't like. This one also contains both a matte black and a brown, so this is also great for travel.  Every shadow is pigmented and blends easily. Contains shades for both dramatic and classic neutral looks. Also add this to my 'For Browns' list, It's a must.
When I go on a trip or vacation I take one of these palettes, I just pick up a random one without looking. I have a hard time picking between the two so I just randomly pick lol. The colors in Ludwig are:

(Taken from Sephora.com)

Lucifer (Matte charcoal black)
Orbi (Golden green shimmer)
Dimebag (Metallic lime green)
Clay (Beige with gold glitter, my fav shadow from this palette)
Tequila (Metallic cornsilk shimmer)
Downtown (Metallic light copper shimmer)
Baroque (Golden bronze shimmer)
Leather (Matte chocolate brown)

Note: I clean all my mu, I don't like dirty mu! So that's why they look a little new. I use microfiber towels.

Swatched both palettes over Avalon Organics Lavender lotion. I couldn't get the mattes to stick to the wet lotion.

*Drools at all the prettyness*

Thanks for looking! :)

Dior 1 Colour Ultra Smoothing High Impact Eyeshadow in Chrome.

In other words...This is an e/s single. LOL long name! Hi everyone! I wanted to share my latest purchase. I've been wanting a good silver e/s (that wasn't in a palette) for awhile now, so when I saw this one I thought It would be perfect. It's such a stunning shimmering frosty silver with lots of silver glitter. This reminds me of MAC Electra (Lustre). By itself It's sheer but shimmery with lots of glitter. But like a lot of shadows It comes alive over primer. I swatched It over Painterly and It really popped and the glitter was more blendable and nicely pigmented. Check out the sexy packaging! It's so luxurious and feminine! I even like the sponge applicator, even that looks elegant. I especially like the velvet case, and for the price ($28.50 for 0.7 oz), It better come with something that will protect it! AMIRITE!? Heh, heh.

Swatched dry. *Swoon*

Over Painterly.
I am happy with my purchase, I love this! This is a keeper.

Thanks for reading!
