MAKE UP FOR EVER Rouge Artist Intense Mat 8

Mat 8 ($19 for 0.12 oz) is a very sexy, very matte bright blue based red. Similar in dryness to Ruby Woo, but glides a tad bit easier and with much more lasting power and much more pigmentation. According to their ad in Sephora's Spring catalog, MUFE Rouge Artist Intense l/s contain 50% more pigment than traditional l/s, and I can say it is totally true. Lasting power of this is just nuts. I can put it on and go on about my day without worrying about touch ups.

    I absolutely adore Rouge Artist Intenses. They have a thicker feel on my lips than most, but like you said, the staying power is tough to top!

    Gorgeous shade! I love that it's a deeper red :)

    I prefer shades like that, I don't like the orange-y reds.

    Yes, they have a thicker feel! Great way of describing them. Maybe it's all that extra pigment!:)

    I'm probably the only person in the world who doesn't mind Ruby Woo (especially if you leave the tube in your pocket or something, it warms it up beautifully!), so dryness with this doesn't bother me :D
