August Birchbox

Once the Birchbox of the month hype dies down, it's when I get mine. Last month I didn't get a chance to take pics cause I got it while the in laws were over and I was too busy. Didn't like that box anyways, I gave away everything in it but the polish. This one again is just OK. I do love the perfume samples because that's my thang, but the rest...Eeeeh. Not a fan of Carol's Daughter; I've purchased many things from her line and was disappointed by everything. The liner is a hot mess. Tons of product comes out with the applicator and there's no way to wipe on the edge cause the part you screw the wand into is like half a mile long. I tried to use it; not only is the wand difficult to hold so I ended up with black fingers, but the formula is thin and peels off.  The serum is a lifting and firming serum. I'm 25, I don't need either. And my hair is too long for hair ties. Sorry if I sound like I'm complaining too much, I just wanted to be completely honest. I keep it real. ;P

See how deep it is?

Very late June Birchbox

Hi everyone! So sorry I'm late with this, I just got it yesterday. H got it out of the mail and ran up to me with a big smile cause he was so happy that I finally got It.:) I LOVE this box. Seriously, everything I got was stuff that I like. This month's theme is Travel. Which is very appropriate for summer.

Everything came nicely packaged. Presentation is very important.

I got: Dr. Dennis Gross EZ4U Facial Towelettes, Amika Obliphica Hair Treatment, Kate Spade Twirl, Pangea Organics Tone for Normal to Combination Skin, Pangea Organics Nigerian Ginger Facial Cream, and Laura Geller Baked Blush in Honey Dipped. I didn't post this yesterday so I could try everything and give a proper review. There's nothing in this box I didn't like. As soon as it came I put on the blush, which is just freaking gorgeous and looks beautiful on (If I do say so myself!), then I sprayed Twirl on and instantly fell in love. At night after I washed off all my makeup I used a towelette to make sure all mu residue was off. Then I sprayed the toner on and applied the moisturizer. My face felt fresh and smelled amazing. Then this morning I applied the oil treatment (which is a serum, not a runny oil). I'm telling you, this serum smells freaking incredible. My hair smelled SO good. I NEED the full size.

Here's the rundown of the full sizes and prices. The blush is actually full size!
AMAZING OR WHAT?? If It wasn't for Birchbox I would have never tried this; very unfortunate because It's such a wonderful product.

Surprise! Took this last week but never uploaded. Used Edward Bess shadows in Storm (lid) and Mystery (crease), pinky white shadow from Yves Saint Laurent Chromatics #19 palette (inner corners), MAC Brule (highlighter), and Blacktrack.

May Birchbox

Hi everyone! This is my first Birchbox. For those of you who don't know what it is, for $10 a month (free, yes FREE shipping) you get a box of 5 mid rage or high end deluxe samples. Unfortunately they only ship to the U.S. :( Wish it was everywhere so everyone everywhere could share my happyness.:(
Box arrives to your mailbox every month between the 10th and the 13th. Pretty sweet huh? My sister signed up and since I do everything she does (and vise versa) I had to as well. I signed up at Birchbox and it was pretty simple. Just entered my card and then filled out a beauty profile so they would know the sort of stuff I prefer. I do wish their beauty profile was a little more specific though. In one section it asked what I look for the most, the latest colors, hair product, or skin care product. As you know I am mostly into neutral e/s, not so much "The latest color", so I didn't know what to put. I do like pastels though, cause they can be worn with red l/s!
This month's theme was Mother's Day. Onto the box!

The I chipped off so it says "B RICH BOX" lol.

Rundown of all the products.

Love how everything came nicely packaged. AHAVA mineral hand cream shown here. This is very creamy and leaves my hands creamy.

A blank card from tinyprints.com

Full size stila e/s in Wisteria!

BVLGARI Jasmin Noir and Achipelago Pomegranate soap. The soap smells amazing! I have it in a soap dish on my bathroom sink. I loved the perfume so much I'm getting the full size.

My sister's stila shadow in Ebony. She doesn't like e/s so she asked if I wanted it. DON'T MIND IF I DO.

They're huge! Penny for size comparison.

I loved both shadows! Wisteria has blue shimmer, I DIE! Ebony is SO pigmented!

All the products they send in the box are available for purchase on their site, which is pretty sweet. Every box you purchase gives you 10 loyalty points. Also, giving feedback and reviewing each item you got in the box gives your 10 loyalty points per review. 100 loyalty points=$10 off the purchase of a full size product or you can use it towards your next Birchbox. Pretty sweet! So far i'm very pleased with my first box!
