Sephora Collection Colorful Blush - Cinnamon Spice 01

In direct sunlight.

If you're a darker-skinned gal like myself, you need this blush. Cinnamon Spice ($13 for 0.11oz) is a delicious peachy-terracotta shade with peachy-gold sheen and gold micro-glitter. Heavenly! It's not over-the-top pigmented but it does have great pigmentation and leaves a very lovely sheen.

Sephora Collection Microsmooth Blush Duo - Tea Rose Tickle

Tea Rose Tickle ($17) is a pinky brown one on side, mauve on the other, and it is so very pretty. I've been on a mauve kick lately and I wanted to pick this up as soon as I saw it on Sephora's site, I knew I'd love it. Blush is very soft, pigmented, and leaves a lovely glow on the cheeks.

Left shade, right, and both.

Wearing Tea Rose Tickle with MAC Lightscapade over it.

MAC Mineralize Skinfinish - Lightscapade

I didn't think this would work for me, but it's so gorgeous I still had to have it. I was so surprised that it actually did end up working for me, putting to rest the myth that it's only for lighter skin-tones.
I showed it to my sister and she loved it so much without even having swatched it first that she bought it less than an hour later. She is NC30 and on her it pulls pink opal. She wore it today on the inner corners of her eyes and on cheekbones - it looked so gorgeous!  On my NC40 skin it pulls more champagne. Wearing it below over Sephora Microsmooth Blush in Tea Rose Tickle.

Dior 1-Colour Ultra-Smoothing High Impact Eyeshadow-Crystal White 006

My goodness - what a long name! Crystal White ($29 for 0.07 oz) is a very shimmery white with multicolor micro-glitter. It's absolutely glamorous and plays up the eyes brilliantly, either on inner corners or all over the lid. This is perfect if you're like me and like to create looks without having to use multiple shadows but still want your eyes to look done-up. Texture is delicious - very soft and pigmented. The swatch below is only from one swipe.
I've been wanting to get this for a long time now; always told myself  "I don't need it, nope, I don't". When in reality I needed it and I needed it badly.

I recommend this be applied with the sponge applicator it comes with as it works better when you pat it into your primer.

Shopping My Stash: NARS Oasis

Recently, I've fallen back in love with this little gem. Sometimes I get caught up in getting the-next- big-thing that I forget all about the pretties I already have. Oasis is a beautiful pinkish plum with gold shimmer. Delicious, right?
What I love most about this is that on me it pulls mauve instead of bright pink (anything with pink pulls really bright on me) so it does not clash with red lipstick. It's also so pigmented that you get more than enough product with just a light touch. I definitely recommend a skunk/187 brush with this. I've tried using big fluffy blush brush and it just picked up too much color.
I did a smokey-eye for a Christmas party last year and wore this and I must say, it looked damn good. I'm not a smokey-eye person, but since I paired it with Oasis, I felt like a bombshell.

Laura Geller Barely There TInted Moisturizer-Medium

This literally the worse tinted moisturizer I have ever used. According to the description: This contains 'light-diffusing mineral pigments'. Yeah, it's more like a liquid highlighter. First of all, it's very difficult to blend, I was having a hard time trying to blend it the moment I applied it to my cheek. Then I noticed all the shine, OH GOD THE SHINE, especially once I applied it to my nose. I looked ridiculous, lol, there was so much shimmer on my face. Then I went to wash it off with just my soap (it's a tinted moisturized, how difficult could it b to remove?) and it wouldn't come off. Tried scrubbing my face with grapeseed oil and a tissue and only a little came off. A second application of oil and lots of soap finally did the trick. This is actually more difficult to remove than Revlon ColorStay. I wouldn't recommend this.

MAC Hey, Sailor! Haul

Hey everyone! I attended MAC's Hey, Sailor! event today and here's what I got. I really wanted the 2 blushes as well as Crew but none of them worked for my skin tone. I ended up getting: Red Racer (of course), Jaunty e/s, and Sun Dipped Pro Longwear bronzer (this one's for my lucky sister). After swatching Red Racer at home and under normal lights (MAC didn't have its' usual bright lights pointed to the makeup to make it look magical), I realized I should have gotten a backup. Oh well, guess I'll have to wait till the 24th when it "comes out" so I can get more. It's the perfect Sonia red. Jaunty is a absolutely gorgeous pale pearly gold.

I thought of NARS Cyprus as soon as I opened this up at home but luckly it's not a dupe.

Red Racer, my new tattoo (;P), Cyprus, and Jaunty.
