Yves Saint Laurent Eyeliner Effect Faux Cils Long-Wear Cream Eyeliner- Sea Black

Sea Black ($25) is and absolutely stunning midnight blue. It looks like it's going to be very blue in the pan and better suited for a teenager but it's far from it. It's actually quite grow up and subtle on the eyes without being too obvious. If I bought it, it says something. I like to wear it plain all by itself.
Also found that this wears a lot better than Deep Black.

Yves Saint Laurent Eyeliner Effect Faux Cils Long-Wear Cream Eyeliner- Deep Black

I was very excited to see Yves Saint Laurent come out with a liner. Though I do prefer gel I really liked the pigmentation when I swatched it in-store so added it to my Christmas wishlist. Deep Black ($25 for 0.098 oz) that is supposed to be waterproof, smudge-proof, and last up to 24 hours. Well as bold and pigmented as this is, it's not that long-wearing. It is long-wearing but definitely not for 24 hours as they claim; maybe half that. It doesn't dry as fast as Blacktrack nor does it dry to the matte finish that Blacktrack does; takes a little longer to set. This is an issue I run into with most cream liners (which is why I don't usually go for them in the first place; I'm looking at you BB). Deep Black dries with a sheen to it and once it sets after a minute it does last, so long as I don't touch my eyes. I can appreciate it's creamier consistency because it makes it easier to work with and spreads a lot easier than my HG Blackrack. Overall, it is very pigmented and I really like it a lot.

Deep Black on left BlackTrack on right.

Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupte Red Taboo 18

Hi everyone! Red Taboo ($34 for 0.12 oz) is a blue based dark red. Finish is creamy and moisturizing. Nicely pigmented and lasts a few hours before having to reapply. I do have to reapply after I eat, however, which is always the case for me with any cream l/s. Fruity and I love how it tastes/smells. Unfortunately I'm allergic to something in this. I don't know what but it burns like a mo' fo' for a few minutes, like I have hot sauce on my lips. BUT I don't currrr, I love this l/s. I only have this issue with this shade though, I have Red Muse as well and It doesn't burn.

See why I put up with the burn?

Yves Saint Laurent Pure Chromatics Wet &Dry e/s #19

Pure Chromatics #19 ($48 for 0.18 oz) e/s is a gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous quad that has Sonia written all over it. It has a pink that is more quiet and lady like (cause we all know I'm a lady;P), a slightly slightly pinkish white, a TAUPE (#winning), and a dark bronze/chocolate brown. Absolute perfection. The texture is unbelievable and unlike anything I've ever used before, like silk instead of buttery. Super shimmery and sparkly without being loud and hoorish and gives my eyes the best glow. This was worth every penny. I know what you're all going to say, "$48 for a quad? My first KID didn't cost that much (DISCLAIMER: I don't have any kids so I don't know how much they actually cost, I'm just improvising work with me here;) )! You're freaking crazy Sonia and you need holy water." But trust me, it's seriously worth it. I recommend you swatch these new palettes and fall head over heels like I did. Let the magic begin...Hold on to your knickers!

Direct sunlight

*Fans self* Why I DO declare!
Dry they go on sheer but nicely pigmented with loads of perfect sparkles. When wet (use the silicone applicator it comes with, it's quite useful) on pigmented, creamy, and the shimmer pops more. I personally like dry as I'm not used to using e/s wet. But I'm sure most of you will prefer them wet since dramatic eye looks are quite popular.:) I just don't have the OO for them. Wait, I'm getting a little sidetracked here.
Another thing I like about these quads is that almost all of them have a taupe (Hi, my name is Sonia and I am a taupe hoor) so it means I need to get them. I can't do just one.
In conclusion, my big ass eyes love shimmer and sparkle so this palette was a success. *stamps Sonia approved stamp all over this post* Thanks for reading!

Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture in 20 Rouge Flamme

Hi everyone! Rouge Flamme ($30 for 0.13 oz) is a very very bright blue based red. This is a serious red, not for the shy. Formula is very creamy and moisturizing; doesn't matter for me though I blot it lol. But I know that's a good thing for a lot of people! :) Nicely pigmented and opaque. Long lasting and fades evenly once it starts to. It lasted on me all through the food and tea I had at AubreyRose, which is impressive! Has a very light rose scent.
Packaging is lightweight but luxurious. Looks nice on my sweet vanity. ;P

I LOVE this l/s. It went straight to my purse, I want it with me at all times. Thanks for reading!

Yves Saint Laurent Blush Variation in Caramel

Hi everyone! Caramel ($45 for 0.14oz) is a gorgeous gorgeous shimmery warm caramel blush with four  shades in one. I'm sure i've said this before and I probably will again, but this is the perfect blush for us darker ladies. Second most important thing is that it will go with red lips, has to, or it's a deal breaker.
Texture is wonderful, not too powdery. Packaging is pretty, but i'm not too crazy about the velvet pouch, doesn't have the YSL logo on it. What I like about luxury products is the attention to detail. At $45 it better have nice little details to make it look like I paid $45. I don't know if i'm being a douche but that part really bugs me, like they just threw it in some random flimsy pouch and said "Here, shut up Sonia." The brush it came with is decent though. Good thing the blush is so beautiful!

All the colors blended

Sigh.

Here's my cake! Red velvet--my fav! Oh about that 5, that's how old I turned, yup! Btw, the 24 on my About Me is staying! I refuse to change it to 25! Just so later none of you say "Hey Sonia you forgot to change your age". I DIDN'T.  >_<

Thanks for reading! <33

Took pics and swatches of these while I was at Sephora. So excited to share! The texture is unbelievable and unlike anything i've ever used before, I can't describe it. The colors were absolutely stunning and very shimmery. I didn't pick any up today and now i'm regretting it. But I will next time i'm there.
