Depotted for the very first time.

I didn't even break any! Success!

Depotted two at the botto left (all MAC) Which are  Crystal Avalanche and Black Tied, the lonely one with is Gazette Grey (LE), and the three on the right which are (top-bottom)  Modelette(LE), Warming Trend(LE), and Patina.

First, I put a piece of foil on the iron, put the shadow on top, and then another piece of foil to protect the shadow. Can never be too careful! Then I left the shadows on a hot flat iron for around 3-10 seconds (depending on how long it took to get the plastic soft), then I stuck a pin in through the back to separate the shadow from the plastic. But I did it verrryyy carefully! You don't wanna go through the actual e/s pan! At first I thought I was supposed to leave the shadow on the iron for 15 minutes (heard that from a youtuber), so I left Crystal Avalanche of there for 10 minutes before depotting. Eeek! Burned my fingers when I tried taking it out. :/ Luckly a wonderful MUAer told me to only apply heat for 3 seconds. Much better! Worked great and I didn't burn my fingers. I was mostly worried about breaking Gazette Grey, but luckly, I didn't! Hurray!

Thanks for looking!

Egyptian makeup

Took this picture of cosmetic pigments at an Egyptian exhibit. Notice the long pointy stick on the right? That was what they used to line their eyes with. Wonder who these belonged to. Aside from the mummies, this was my favorite thing there. Cool, huh?

My fav blushes and highlighters.

Look at all this sexyness. *Whistles*Clockwise
Why so much peach you ask? I'm not big on pink blushes, I prefer peach, corals, oranges, and neutrals. I feel they look best on my skin tone. I do own pink blushes but they don't get as much love as these guys do.
Clockwise Illamasqua Create (Matte honey colored, perfect neutral for us darker girls;) Love this one paired with a smokey eye), NARS Taj Mahal, Elf Candid Coral (Sheer shimmery Peach with a little pink thrown in), Illamasqua Excite (Matte bright peach), MAC Peaches (Matte sheer peach), MAC Nuance (Sheer shimmery mineral neutral peach), Illamasqua Lover (Matte light peach). Then in the middle on the left Fyrinnae Enchant (Bright orange with hot pink shimmer, HOT), and Bare Escentuals  Vintage peach (Loose shimmery peach).

Aren't they hot?? L-R Nuance, Lover, Peacher, Create, Taj Mahal, Candid Coral, Excite, Vintage Peach, and Enchant.

Closeup of Nuance.

Now, onto the highlighters!

The trick is to use a little just at the top of the cheekbones, for me anyway. I don't like to over do it. So I use just a little at a time. Just enough to highlight without looking heavy. Sometimes applying with clean fingers works better and blends better than applying with a brush.

NARS Hungry Heart Duo

Vered Romance (neutral pink) Vered Bone (Champagne) These are e/s I love to use as highlighters

Clockwise Porcelain pink, Shimpagne, and Cheeky bronze MAC MSFs

Shimpagne, Porcelain Pink, Cheeky Bronze, Hungry Heary Dup,  Bone, and Romance.

And bonus! FOTD!

Yup, that's a tree branch. At first, I couldn't get the sun to work in my favor downstairs...

Or upstairs!

And then..It finally worked!

Revlon Raspberry Bite super lustrous lipstick

Hi every one! I have to share pictures of l/s with all of you. It is SO hot. SOOOOOO HOT. This is a sexy, hot, and striking. Looks dark in the tube but swatches a beautiful red fuschia. It's not sheer though. The formula is wonderful, very moisturizing. Normally I don't like that, I always blot creamy and moisturizing l/s since I prefer matte. But I love this one, It's glossy without looking like a gloss. Love, love, love that. Very pigmented and great staying power, lasts through cup of tea after cup of tea. At the end of the day It fades evenly and shows the pink more. But It doesn't look like a faded mess because of the wonderful formula. Still has the sheen. Feels luxurious and expensive, not like something I paid around $8 for. Unscented and tasteless. Color is fabulous and very feminine. I like to pair this with very neutral eyes as this is very bold. The pink makes it more bold than just a normal red l/s. It's a must have!

This swatch was taken a couple of days ago.

Took this one today with my cellphone.
Blacktrack on eyes, Illamasqua Lover blush with Vered e/s as highlighter.

I'm in love...With Wet n Wild holiday palettes.

I went everywhere, called everywhere looking for these. I couldn't find them anywhere near me. Finally, I decided to call a Walgreens 30 minutes away from me, and they had them! So I actually made the 30 minute trip, out of love. When I finally arrived, I had to calm myself down and hold back from fanning myself in public when I saw them. They are gorgeous. O...M...G. Six beautifully coordinated eye shadows in each palette. They are seriously so stunning. The quality is fabulous. They're pigmented, soft, and long lasting. Some don't even need a primer. I only got 3, Night Elf, Golden Goddess, and Sugar Plum. Colors range from sheer shimmers, pigmented and shimmery, to pigmented with fine glitter. If you don't have these I definitely recommend them. You'll love them as much as I do! I'm so glad these came out during the holidays because they colors fit perfectly.
Swatches!

Sugar Plum

The 1st is a sheer white with purple shimmer (tdf!), 2nd a light pink mauve with very fine silver glitter,  3rd a light lavender WITH GOLD SHIMMER omg, 4th a medium purple mauve with gold shimmer (fans self), 5th a metallic grape purple, and 6th a dark blackened plum purple. Makes a HOT, I'm talking HOT sex kitten smokey eye. Amazing!! Add this color to my smokes for browns list.

Night Elf

The 1st shadow is a white highlighter and the 2nd a metallic silver. In the pan, the 3rd shadow looked like It was going to be a dupe of MAC Patina. But swatched It was more golden. Then the 4th shadow is a red with slight red shimmer. Swatched dry It's a light red, over primer It brings out the full blown red. The 5th shadow (brown with green duochrome) is a close dupe of MAC Club and Too Faced Label Whore. I think It's closer to Label Whore since they both have more green to them. The black shadow is a close dupe for MAC Black Tied. Black Tied is very dry and gritty, which is hard to work with. This one is softer and the glitter isn't gritty. I couldn't get the black to come off my finger, It just wanted to stick to the primer I had leftover on my finger. Oops!

Golden Goddess

The first shadow is a sheer white with light gold shimmer. Beautiful highlighter. The 2nd is a peach with gold shimmer (this ones my fav, ugh, so hot), very pigmented and soft. Then the next 3 are similar. A gold, a bronze, and an bronzish orange, with gold shimmer. The last color is a dark brown with slight plum to it. Very slight. With find gold glitter. It's super freaking hot! Makes a great smokey eye.
First picture was taken with flash, 2nd with bright natural lighting. I'm talking full blown sunlight. It felt like my arm was being cooked! Hope this review was helpful! Now, go stock up on these before they're gone! They are on FIYAH!

Sonia
