Dry Winter Skin

Normally I have dry skin, but during Fall/Winter my skin gets wicked dry. Here are the products I'm currently using to combat my epidemic.

1- I use Cold Cream and tissue to remove all my makeup. This gets off everything without having to tug on the skin.

2- I remove all the Cold Cream with Avalon Organics Vitamin C cleanser in conjunction with a facial brush. This not only cleanses well and gently, it leaves my skin radiant.

3- I spray this hydrating toner on my face and wait 5 minutes for it to completely absorb. Unfortunately Burt's Bees thought it was genius to discontinue this after it was my HG for 2 years. If anybody could recommend me one that's similar I'd really appreciate it.

4- I alternate between these two moisturizers depending on how dry my skin is that day. Mychelle when my skin is dry and Burt's when my skin is DRY. Both are very moisturizing, get rid of dry patches, and leave my skin plump and dewy.

5- Nothing beats my dry skin up like Nivea Creme. I normally stick to natural body creams and lotions, even Argan oil, but I can't find anything moisturizing enough. This is the only thing that does it for me.

6- Moisturizing the skin from the inside out is a must. If I stop taking my Flaxseed Oil and drink less water, no amount of heavy cream can help save me.

Hope this helps and thanks for reading!

  6. I've tried Ponds Cold Cream but I didn't have a good enough grasp of skin at the time to remember how it worked for me, so I'll definitely be giving it another shot. I actually have a little tin of Nivea cream right next to me! Woo!
